River Cottage is a former fishing lodge on the banks of the River Wye midway between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye. We have two bedrooms: one double en suite which overlooks the river; the other, with a double and a single bed, has a separate bathroom. It is often preferred because of the French doors opening on to the balcony. From here, one is afforded wonderful views of the river and surrounding countryside. Along this stretch of water one can see heron, swans, kingfishers and occasionally otters.
The house has been totally renovated in recent years and provides a high level of comfort. There are ample parking facilities. |
